5 March, 2017 @ 19:30 to 21:00
Beckenham Theatre Glee Club meets every Sunday evening from 7:30 – 9:00pm, to bash through a bunch of musical theatre songs – some you may know so well that you already hum along to them in the shower; some you may never have heard before – followed by a drink at the bar.
You don’t need to be a trained soprano or have “sung with Frank” – as long as you enjoy musical theatre and can hold some sort of tune, then please join us for one last hour of pure joy before the week begins again. Absolutely no experience necessary!
If you enjoy a good sing-song, Glee Club is the best way to polish off your weekend.
The set list for this week’s Glee Club (in case you want to have a listen before turning up) is:
You and Me (But Mostly Me) from The Book of Mormon
I Know Him So Well from Chess
Getting to Know You from The King and I
I Have Nothing from The Bodyguard
Do You Hear the People Sing from Les Miserables
Flash Bang Wallop from Half a Sixpence
I’m All Alone from Spamalot
For Good from Wicked
Glee Club is free to attend for Beckenham Theatre members only, but if you haven’t been before (or haven’t joined yet), non-members are welcome to come along for a sample session. If you do decide to join our thriving members’ society, it only costs £25 per year.
